Working primarily in the defense and aerospace industries, Mainstream Waterjet works with a large range of materials from aluminums to carbon fiber and marble to fulfill their waterjet cutting needs. Our equipment can handle parts up to 80" wide x 160" long with a standard tolerance of +/-.030 inches, but can also handle much tighter tolerances on specific jobs. For faster production, we use an Omax 80160 with dual heads. Mainstream Waterjet excels in cost efficiency, as we reduce material costs through nesting, as well as excelling in quality, as there is no thermal distortion or hardening.

There are a variety of intended applications for this process, such as for architectural ornaments, pressure vessels, and metal gaskets. Other processing capabilities include 5-axis hi-definition plasma cutting, CNC milling, surface grinding, and fabrication.
